Current monitoring circuit board for Raspberry PI

This device is designed as a shield that connects to the 40 position header of a Raspberry PI. It measures currents in a range of 3 μA - 107 mA extendable up to 130 mA with a resolution as low as 3 μA.. This circuit makes a measurement every 1 millisecond then outputs Min, Max and average values every second to the Raspberry PI serial port. This strategy allows determining sleep and wake current consumption for electronic systems such as IOT devices which are programmed to sleep most of the time and wake up periodically to send data.
